Plastic racks - modules 1–4 available from stock in lengths from 250 to 1,000 mm. The spur gear racks are made from POM semi-finished products. Due to its good mechanical properties, such as hardness, dimensional stability and sliding and wear behaviour, polyacetal (POM) is one of the preferred construction materials for precision parts, especially in mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry and electrical engineering. POM is a high-molecular thermoplastic. The abbreviation POM stands for polyoxymethylene / polyacetal / polyformaldehyde. Trade and brand names include Delrin, Hostaform and Ultraform.

Plastic racks

Plastic racks from G&G are square in cross-section with spur gearing. POM semi-finished products are the starting material for cutting production. The toothing is milled in a quality of 10h27. Due to the material, they are not levelled. Without special surface treatment, G&G racks are only bondable to a limited extent.

You can find an overview of all G&G rack variants here.
