Rigid couplings - split
Split rigid couplings are the preferred choice for complex and high-maintenance applications. These couplings can be replaced at any time and with comparatively little effort – without having to dismantle the shaft and its peripherals beforehand.

The use of rigid couplings ideally requires the additional installation of support bearings in the area of the respective shaft ends, especially when long shafts are operated at high speeds. This reduces the bending stress on the couplings to a minimum.
Maximum drive power (speed and torque) can only be transmitted with:
- Exactly aligned shaft ends
- Max. dimensional accuracy of the shafts
- Proper installation
- Identical shaft diameters – different shaft diameters on request
