Rigid couplings - Flex split
The design RIGID COUPLINGS – FLEX split is used to connect shafts with different shaft diameters. The hole diameter d min can be drilled up to d max. Groove possible by subsequent machining.

The use of rigid couplings ideally requires the additional installation of support bearings in the area of the respective shaft ends, especially when long shafts are operated at high speeds. This reduces the bending stress on the couplings to a minimum.
Maximum drive power (speed and torque) can only be transmitted with:
- Exactly aligned shaft ends
- Max. dimensional accuracy of the shafts
- Proper installation
- Identical shaft diameters – different shaft diameters on request
