Trapezoidal threaded nuts for your drive solution
When combined with the associated trapezoidal threaded spindles, trapezoidal threaded nuts convert rotary motion into linear motion. There is a wide range of applications for these drive solutions, especially when large forces must be transmitted at slow to medium speeds.
The G&G Antriebstechnik product range includes both single-start and multi-start trapezoidal threaded nuts in a variety of dimensions, designs and materials.
Trapezoidal threaded nuts move on trapezoidal threaded spindles and move adjusting units, for example, in a linear direction. Depending on the pitch, the nuts are self-locking.

Areas of application for trapezoidal threaded nuts
G&G trapezoidal threaded nuts and trapezoidal threaded spindles are used as drive solutions, particularly in mechanical and plant engineering. Typical areas of application include adjustment devices operated manually or with electric motors and the fastening and clamping of tools or workpieces.
The deep engagement of the nut in the trapezoidal thread of the spindle enables the transmission of larger axial forces. Due to the comparatively high coefficients of friction, trapezoidal thread drives with trapezoidal threaded spindles and nuts are usually self-locking, so no additional locking of the threaded drive is required.
We supply trapezoidal threaded nuts for all G&G trapezoidal threaded spindles as standard and can also deliver custom-made products based on drawings or samples on request.
Materials
Users can choose between steel (11SMnPb37), gunmetal (CuSn7ZnPb) and plastic (PA 6.6). Gunmetal nuts offer good emergency running characteristics, even with inadequate lubricant. Plastic nuts do not require lubrication. They are maintenance-free and low-noise.
