Further information
Sprockets from G&G Antriebstechnik GmbH are mainly produced for industrial applications in mechanical and plant engineering. They must match the geometry and dimensions of the teeth of the roller chains being used. This is regulated by the relevant DIN / ASA standards.
Sprockets are made of steel as well as cast iron and, depending on the technical requirements and in particular the torque to be transmitted, are used in the form of simplex sprockets, duplex sprockets or triplex sprockets. Steel sprockets can also be supplied in a hardened version for heavy-duty applications and if required by the specific use. Stainless steel sprockets and roller chains are mainly used in the food industry.
Sprockets are generally available in simplex, duplex and triplex designs as well as double sprockets for the simultaneous use of 2 simplex roller chains.
In its product range of sprockets / plate wheels, G&G Antriebstechnik GmbH offers completely prefabricated and hardened products from G&G’s private brand BONspeed with bore, groove and set screw over the groove. All other blanks can be processed in a very wide range of variations, ranging from machining to heat and surface treatment to complete custom-made products based on customer drawings.
