Applications
Driving, transporting, lifting, conveying. The range of applications for sprocket drives is virtually endless and by no means limited to drive technology. In order to cover almost all applications and areas of use in mechanical and plant engineering, G&G maintains a large range of bearings, which includes standard sprockets according to DIN 8196 as well as plate wheels and sprockets for clamping bushes.
It is essential that the sprockets match the roller chains used. Depending on the requirements, simplex, duplex or triplex chains are used here. G&G supplies simplex roller chains according to ASA DIN 8188 and ISO 606 as well as duplex and triplex roller chains according to ISO 606.
Our range
The G&G range of stock items includes sprockets according to DIN 8196 with one-sided hub, pre-drilled, made of steel C45 and stainless steel V2A, for applications in food production, among others. Our product range also includes sprockets for clamping bushes as well as return sprockets and chain tensioners.
On request, G&G can supply standard sprockets pre-machined for immediate installation, also with heat and surface treatment on request. We also offer complete custom-made products based on drawings or samples.
BONspeed® sprockets
As a rule, standard sprockets are only pre-drilled and have to be machined and adapted before installation. This requires both time and machine and labour capacity. Sprockets from G&G’s private brand BONspeed® are exactly the right choice for users who want to get by this problem and need a quick and ultimately more economical alternative. G&G delivers the sprockets from stock induction-hardened and ready for installation, with a fixed H7 shaft bore, keyway and two threaded holes.
Plate wheels
With G&G steel plate wheels, users can integrate chain drives into their surrounding structures and – to name one example – create compact sprocket units with individual add-on components.
Sprockets for clamping bushes
Sprockets with a conical design and a conical shape of the counterpart – the taper lock bush – form a friction-locked shaft-hub connection that is easy to install and just as easy to dismantle in the event of repairs. We have an extensive range of sprockets for clamping bushes in stock available for you.
Sprockets pre-machined for immediate installation / custom-made products
G&G supplies sprockets machined to customer specifications as well as complete custom-made products based on drawings.
For the purpose of fitting original components in mechanical and plant engineering applications, our services include the machining of standard parts, custom heat and surface treatment of sprockets, and the manufacture of complete custom-made products based on drawings.
