Taper lock bushes / clamping bushes for your drive solution

Taper lock bushes / clamping bushes are mechanical engineering components that are also often referred to as taper bushes, taper clamping bushes, conical clamping bushes or tapered bushes. They are friction-locked shaft-hub connections with high concentricity for sprockets, V-belt pulleys and timing belt pulleys. A distinguishing characteristic of G&G taper lock bushes / clamping bushes is their self-centring, backlash-free assembly. They can be dismantled and replaced at any time with little effort when performing maintenance and servicing work. Axial misalignment is ruled out by the design.

Applications of taper lock bushes
Drive elements for taper lock bushes / clamping bushes, such as simplex/duplex sprockets, timing belt pulleys and V-belt pulleys, are ideal for wear-intensive applications. They have a conical basic design and a longitudinal slot to keep the cone elastic. The bore and keyway are manufactured according to DIN.
By inserting and screwing the bush and hub together, sufficient pressing forces are generated both in the area of the conical surfaces and on the shaft to transmit the required torque. The dimensions correspond to the current standard and can therefore be freely combined/interchanged with a large number of commercially available product alternatives.
