Roller chains in all variations

Roller chains are mainly produced for industrial applications in mechanical and plant engineering. In combination with sprockets, roller chains are not only used for drive purposes but also for transporting, lifting and conveying. The application, installation conditions and, above all, the torque to be transmitted are key factors in deciding on simplex, duplex or triplex roller chains.

The pitch of roller chains must match the tooth geometry and tooth dimensions of the sprockets, plate wheels and idler sprockets being used.
This is regulated for chain drives in the relevant DIN ISO / ASA standards.
